FARIBAULT — The River Bend Nature Center announced Thursday it has hired Tyler Ahnemann as its new executive director.
The center is holding an open house from 7-9 p.m. on July 9 to welcome Ahnemann, who is the University of Minnesota State 4-H program manager. He has also served as the assistant director of education at the Houston Zoo.
The open house will be held in the River Bend Nature Center’s Interpretive Center. Light refreshments will be provided.
