Gladys M. Bigelow, age 70, of Big Pine Key, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.

Gladys was born May 20, 1939, in Northfield. She was an active member of the Big Pine Key Women of the Moose, Chapter 1810, since 1980.

Gladys is survived by her three daughters, Robin Szmansky of Summerland Key, Fla., Kim Zimmerman of Big Pine Key, and Patti Rupp of Ocala, Fla.; two sons, Dale Bigelow of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Jim Bigelow of Centerville, Minn.; three sisters, Joyce Wear and Terri Henwood of Rochester, Minn., and Valorie Dennison of Northfield; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at the Big Pine Moose Lodge.
