Chad Michael Guyer Hall, age 27, of Montreal, Wis., died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, in Hayward, Wis.
Chad was born Aug. 24, 1982, in Coon Rapids, Minn., the son of William Hall and Gretchen (Hofmeister) Guyer, and attended Northfield schools. He moved to Hurley, Wis., in 2001, where he bartended at the Iron Horse Saloon and was employed in the vending department at Northstar Beverage.
Chad married Heather Jo Vukelich on May 18, 2007, in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Chad enjoyed all sports, especially golfing and playing basketball with friends, and was an avid Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Gophers fan. He loved playing foosball and cooking.
Chad is survived by his wife, Heather; four sons, Carter John, twins Wyatt Michael and Ty James, and Liam Marshall, all at home; father and stepmother, Bill and Carrie Hall of Hurley; mother and stepfather, Gretchen and John Guyer of Burnsville; paternal grandparents, Lorie and John Hall of Corcoran, Minn., and Sam Guyer of Isle, Minn.; brothers, Bill Hall Jr. (Jessika Nguyen) of Burnsville, Joe Robinson (Lynn) of Bessemer, Mich., and Jonathan Guyer of Hopkins, Minn.; sisters, Tara (Mark) Frank of Farmington, Minn., Hope (Tom) Marcon of LaCrosse, Wis., and Sarah Jo Robinson of Hurley; mother-in-law, Lisa Campbell of Hurley; sister-in-law, Rhana “Muffin” Campbell of Hurley; and three nieces and nephews, Ashley Frank, William John Hall III, and Jacob Frank.
Visitation will take place from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at St. Mary’s Church in Hurley, with funeral services beginning at 3 p.m. The Rev. Wesley “Bo” Baumeister, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ironwood, will officiate. Cremation will follow. A reception will be held at the Iron Horse Saloon in downtown Hurley immediately following the service. Pallbearers will be Daniel Kalk, Jeff Elj, Dan Moncher, Joe Robinson, Joel Hochstein and Andy Doda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hurley Headstart, in care of Sandy Worzalla, P.O. Box 43, Hurley WI 54534.
